Andersön

A green and visitor-friendly oasis surrounded by the waters of Storsjön with striking mountain views, many resting places and soft paths.

Great opportunities for mushrooms and walking, cycling or hiking. The beaches are often rocky and shallow which is perfect for smaller children as well as a beautiful place for an evening dip.

People have lived on Andersön since the Stone Age. There are remains and traces of ancient settlements, burial mounds and cultivated cattle. Remains of guardrails cannot be found on the southernmost parts of the island.

At several designated parking spaces on the island you will find information boards with maps where marked paths are based.
