Camp Furan

At Camp Furan, there are 19 pitches without electricity, located on a hill with a view of Torvalla By and Lake Storsjön.
It is 6 km from Östersund city, with regular public transportation.
A brand new shower trailer provides access to toilets and showers. There are three units, each with a toilet and a shower. Three of the showers are usually open from 8 AM to 5 PM, and sometimes in the evenings as well. One shower is open 24/7.

You can empty your latrine here and fill up on drinking water. Unfortunately, there is no facility for emptying grey water into a drain.
Camp Furan is owned and operated by the football club Ope IF, so all proceeds go directly to support the club’s activities.
The price per day is 160 SEK.

During the summer, car bingo is played in the parking area near the pitches on Wednesdays and Sundays between 5 PM and 9 PM. Why not join in?
On bingo nights, the café in the main building is open, offering snacks, hot dogs, and sandwiches.
Occasionally, the main building hosts parties, dance workshops, and conferences. However, these events are not disruptive as the main building is a bit further away.
From Tuesday to Saturday during week 27, the Storsjöcupen takes place in Östersund, and our large parking area is also used for additional parking. This means there will be a lot of cars and activity, especially between 10 AM and 7 PM.
