Makro Fishing Fishingguide

Makrofishing offers guided trolling fishing tours on the lakes Storsjön, Kallsjön, and Näkten. The tours primarily focus on catching large trout, but arctic char and Canadian char are also common catches on the way home.

Mats Kronhöffer, who runs Makro Fishing, has had a passion for fishing since childhood. It started with angling from a rowboat at the summer cabin, and his interest grew with spinning rods, mountain fishing, and fly fishing. Nowadays, his main interest is trolling fishing, and he now offers guided tours.

The tours are conducted on the fishing boat Beneteau Antares 650 with a Honda 115 hp engine. Fishing equipment and life vests are provided for everyone. Each boat has a maximum capacity of 4 people.

For bookings of more than 4 people, please make reservations at least 1 week in advance.
Fishing season: June – October
Full day 4900 SEK – maximum 4 people
For guidance in Kallsjön and Näkten, an additional travel cost of 1000 SEK applies.

Good things to pack for the tour: Weather-appropriate clothing, extra layers, rainwear, light beanie, sunglasses, sun protection if needed, food/snacks, drink cup, any medication for motion sickness/seasickness, and a large dose of patience.
