Sofias Gallery
Sofia’s Gallery is an open artist’s studio and beautiful two-level gallery spanning 107 square metres, just five minutes from the centre of Östersund.
Here you can meet artist Sofia Ohlsén in her creative workspace, where she paints live and presents her exhibition Spegelhavet /Mirror Sea, on display from 25 June to 30 November.
The exhibition combines painting, sound and poetry, exploring themes of self-worth, boundaries, self-respect and what it means to be human. You’re welcome to bring your own headphones to experience the sound installation in its entirety.
The gallery features original paintings, fine art prints, and the opportunity to experience the artwork where it is created. Sofia’s Gallery is a place for reflection, inspiration and creativity, where visitors can connect with both the artist and her creative process.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday, 10:30 am–4:30 pm.
