Stadsmuseet

At the city museum, exhibitions show the city's earliest history, for example the royal letter about the city's founding and Vår lilla stad, which tells about Östersund in the years 1786-1930. The museum cares for and preserves historical, topographical and cultural memories from Östersund. On the upper floor is Ahlbergshallen with an exhibition room for art.
