Ski slopes in the middle of town

Alpine skiing in Östersund – when you are in Östersund, you do not have to go to the mountains to find a ski slope. Just a few minutes from the city center of Östersund, there are both Gustavsbergsbacken and Ladängen, which are suitable for both experienced skiers and beginners. If the amount of snow allows, a fun park is built every winter in Ladängen, which is much appreciated.

It is not uncommon for young people to come here by bus in the evening after school with the board or twin tips over their shoulders.

Litsbacken, which is located about 30 km from Östersund, offers a good children’s and family slope.
