The small boutiques

Small boutiques give the city centre its heart and soul. Join us on a city walking tour of some of Östersund’s treasures.

Brukat

We start the tour at Storgatan 44, the city’s newest second-hand shop. Second-hand clothes are displayed here in a completely new way. Beautifully hanged, stylish combinations and a collection that suits the season.

Hamngatan 12

A few steps further up brings us to Hamngatan 12, an inspiring lifestyle shop with furnishings, fashion, porcelain, fabrics and jewellery. And right at the back of the shop there is a charming café and bistro.

Telogott

A bit further north along the pedestrian street is the best-smelling shop in the city. Floor to ceiling shelves are packed with chocolate, hand-made pralines, salty and sweet liquorice and of course, their own-roasted coffee.

Frösö Handtryck General Store

Walk down towards Storgatan again, on the right-hand side you will find Frösö Handtryck General Store. The company started 1946 and is one of Sweden´s few remaining hand screen printers and also one of the oldest printers in Sweden.

Big Lake Coffee

We walk back along Prästgatan and turn down to Biblioteksgatan,  ending the tour at Big Lake Coffee – Östersunds Coffebar Barista Butik and Artisan Roastery. Here you can enjoy a cup of coffee with a brewed with unique brewing methods and accessories.
