Sledding slopes

Wear warm clothes, bring a riding vehicle - maybe a sledge or snow racer and the view set for coffee between the rides.

On Frösön you will find Kärringbacken, a popular sledding hill for many families with children. Here you can hurry down the hill, walk up again and after the energy pushes a little, either have your own homemade lunch bag or take a few steps over to Tages for a good sandwich & amp; hot chocolate or maybe take the opportunity to taste a Frozen kiss.

At Kärringbacken is also Tegelvik ice skating rink – so be sure to bring both sledges and skates for a lovely outdoor day.

A little further down from the square, just in the harbor you will find the Winter Park – here is a Snow slide. A new long slope with two slopes made for Snowglide (inflatable rings) and saucers lent by the Winter Park). There are also sledges for traditional sledges, saucers and riding mattresses.

Another popular sled hill is Olssons Kulle, located just outside the center of Östersund.
